Liquid Applied Waterproofing
By virtue of their design and construction, roofs and balconies are constantly exposed to the effects of the weather. Triumph offers a complete line of waterproofing and moisture protection products ranging from waterproof membranes to liquid membranes, roofing underlayment’s, hot rubber, thru-wall flashings, vapour barriers, air barriers and drainage composites.
Liquid-applied waterproofing is based on reaction resins. These are applied to the actual substrate on-site in cold liquid form and reinforced with a fleece inlay. The liquid resin adapts to all structural features and cures to form a seamless, permanently elastic membrane, which bonds tightly to the substrate, thus providing long-term protection. By simply waterproofing a roof or balcony; you are creating a safer and cleaner environment for your building.
Modified Bitumen
The Triumph team works diligently with the new project specifies, designers, membrane manufacturers and general contractors to achieve the best roof assembly available at the most competitive prices in the country. Modified bitumen systems combine the advantages of built-up roofing with the ease of application of a single-ply system. Bitumen is reinforced with fibreglass or polyester for added durability, and manufactured into sheets or rolls for ease of application. Modified bitumen roofing systems are easy to install and repair due to its ease of application. It is produced in a manufactured environment which also ensures the highest standard of quality control.
Built-up Roofing
Built-up roofing systems (BUR) consist of layers or plies of roofing felts, with asphalt or bitumen applied between each layer. Built-up roofing is one of the oldest and most durable systems available. Its multiple layers provide extra protection and perform well in extreme weather conditions. Built-up roofs are especially resistant to damage from wind, hail and snow.
They are easy to repair and ideally suited for applications requiring a high level of redundancy. Surfacing materials can be coated with paint or other reflective materials to reduce the effects of UV radiation and reduce cooling and heating costs for your building.
Single Ply Roofing
Single-ply roofing systems are composed of insulation, a single-ply membrane, flashings, and adhesive. TPO, EPDM, and PVC are the three most common types of single-ply membrane systems. Since they consist only of a single layer of roofing over insulation, these popular systems are lightweight, making them an ideal choice for new or retro-roofs.
- TPO (ThermoPlastic Olefin) roofing systems are the most environmentally friendly system of the single-ply systems. They come in a variety of thicknesses and roll widths to meet your specific requirements.
- EPDM (Ethlyene Propylene Diene Monomer) requires low maintenance management and resists UV radiation very well. EDPM has the ability to adjust to extreme temperatures without expansion and contraction.
- PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Roofing Systems is the strongest system that provides great resistance to tears and punctures. PVC is used in areas where there are high levels of oil, grease and other fuels are exposed to the roof.
