Flat Roofer (NOC:7291)


Triumph Roofing & Sheet Metal is seeking to hire 15 qualified flat roofers for permanent employment in the Toronto area.


Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with flat roofing on a commercial/ industrial/ institutional building.


$29.71 hourly, for 37.5hrs. per week, As per Collective Agreement


  • Install, repair and replace built-up roofing (asphalt saturated felts and /or hot asphalt)
  • Install, repair and replace single-ply roofing systems (elastomeric or other asphalt compositions)
  • Install, repair and replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roof of buildings
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Troubleshoot and detect leaks

Roofing Foreman – Service Division


The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years commercial roofing experience. Must be hard-working, reliable and have an attention to detail.
Knowledge of a variety of commercial roofing systems, including modified bitumen, BUR, EPDM and PVC is a must.


  • Respond to roof leaks, sometimes in inclement weather.
  • Investigate and repair roof leaks and other roofing issues.
  • Make alterations and additions to existing roof systems.
  • Oversee roofing projects for small re-roofs and new construction.
  • Set up appropriate safety measures on the jobsite.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks.
  • Produce and maintain appropriate reports and paperwork.
